This class encourages cyclists to discover new ways to practice that complement an indoor or outdoor cycling practice. This class will help you open your hips, hamstrings and quadriceps, gluteus and build upper body strength and a strong core center.  Learn breathing techniques that can improve your bike time. While cycling is among the best forms of cardiovascular conditioning it can leave you with tightness, aches and sometimes pain. Repetitive cycling forces your body to hold forward flexion for long periods of time coupled with the work involved to pedal creates an additional problem of tightening in the muscle groups of the lower body. Developing a consistent specific yoga program can help you alleviate symptoms such as: lower back pain, trapezoid stress, tight hamstrings and quadriceps. To perform well cycling requires the ability to stay focused and in control of your body. A regular yoga class will further enhance the mind body connection and your general kinesthetic awareness. Yoga is an excellent way to bring balance to fitness regimen. Yoga will improve your strength, balance and flexibility.  Yoga is a great way to cross train!
