Let your love light shine!

This is a time when mom needs to really honor her body. Inside you there is an intuitive wisdom that understands natural child birth. Reconnect with this wisdom using a yoga program that is specifically designed for the journey of pregnancy. Flowing yoga postures with your breath will lead you to new discoveries, bring awareness to the body, mind and spirit and the spirit of your baby. This program is calm and peaceful and will help strengthen the uterine and pelvic muscles, improve circulation, aid in digestion, exercise the spine and increase overall comfort. A safe, open environment where community is encouraged allows you to freely discuss any issues, discomfort or concerns about the wonderful new changes your body and baby are experiencing.

This series covers prenatal exercises (basic yoga poses that have been modified for mom and babies safety), prenatal breathing and prenatal poses (these poses have been modified or provide specific prenatal benefits). Posture and breath awareness to support pregnancy and prepare for the birthing experience. Feel free to make it a family event with mom and baby and bring dad or a supportive friend/ family member along. This class provides the partners an opportunity to experience the joy of preparing for birth together, however, remember the focus is still on Mom.
